Going to finally wire up my front fog lights, which i got from minisports. It comes with all the wires, bulbs and an inline 10amp fuse.

Can i connect the fuse through the fuse box under the dash on my 97 MPI, in one of the many blank sections?

Have you not got the front fog light switch in your front panel? (green one) if yes, then you should have the wiring already done, just find an empty socket near the radiator, connect the fog lights to this. This is already fused via the main fuse box in cabin.

No it's not all ready fitted, but have switch and new dash 5 switch panel to fit.
