I was working download over the weekend and got to see and meet some amazing bands.

Just wondering if anybody else went and has stories?

Unfortunately i only got to see Spit it Out as i was working untill then.. i literally finished my shift and ran over so not to miss them haha!

Did you go to the third tent at all mini93??

nope, didnt go 3rd at all this year! most the time was at main stage, well sat outside the festival store on the hill.
went to 2nd stage for a little bit, mainly for papa roach and trivium on the sunday....papa roach werent as good as i thought they would be...i only have 1 of the albums n the rest they played i didnt particualy like

god the mud on the wednesday was insane, we were camped next to a puddle and saw so many people fall over...some people were even jumping in it! aaand yes, i did fall over, peed me reet off even though it wasnt a bad fall by any means.

spit it out was the best part of the set...always is like when i saw them in december especialy with the jump the F up, except when i saw them in dec' corey didnt even have to tell people to crouch, we were already on the floor haha, fun times!!

KoRn were also good though i wasnt far enough forward, glad they played got the life

yep papa roach there new album is prity lame they gone abit weird havent they like emo sorta stuff i like there older stuff better

Yeah they did the same routine for Spit it Out when i saw them at the NEC 8 years ago!! lol
I didnt relaise there was any mud.. i got there on the friday morning and it was lovely weather all weekend so i was well chuffed. As for the falling over... i would try not to laugh but in the great spirit of festival and camping thats what its all about so ha!!

Shame you didnt make it to 3rd tent.. some good bands played. I was stuck in there for 15 and a half hours a day!! lol

lol yeah, do seem a bit emo reaaaally, though infest is a good album.

someone i was camping with saw me fall, apparently it looked like mud just appeared on me because i slipped and within a sec, back on my feet lol oh well.

saw limp bizkit too, were in the crush on the front section...litrally spitting distance (not that i did) from durst when he was against the front barrier. Yeah... horrific, so many people pushing and when people started falling you had no chance to not fall because everyone was pushing against you, people got hurt because people wouldnt stop pushing...thats right about the time i stopped enjoying limp bizkit n then procieded to get out

did you hear about someone de-bagging him too? haha as he was leaning over the croud someone pulled down his shorts so durst was punching the guy in the head while he was singing...lol epic belt fail

Haha i never heard about that. thats hilarious!! I would have de-bagged him too though to be fair.. i cant stand fred durst!!

Did you see devil driver? Apparently they done the largest circle pit in the world this year. They held the record last year at download but they topped themselves this time.

oh no, dont get me wrong, i like them...but it wasnt a pit...it was just as i said a crush, people trying to touch him...or punch him, either one

i dont think it was the largest circle pit...last year watching bleeding through on 2nd stage they had their circle pit all the way round the soundboard aaaand an icecream van lol that was HUGE

i didnt think they woudlnt be able to have the biggest because the centre divider in the front section (was basicly a T shape divider wasnt it)
from my vantage point i could see at least 3 circle pits for devil driver and part my vied was obscured so was more likely to be 4 or so smaller circle pits than 1 giant one like the bleeding through one was
