again a 998cc cooper 64", the drive shat is rubbing on the exhaust, as stated, is there sometihng seriously wrong or shall i just bend the exhausts, its an rc40 by the way.

Check your exhaust brackets, might have a broken one / or two 
had this on mine, the centre bracket was missing so the exhaust would swing forward pushing the lcb onto the inner pot. Still not sorted the racket from the gearbox, apparently there's meant to be one there too
