mine was leaking from the sump plug and to sort it i decided to buy an extra long magnetic plug and 3 new copper washes, sorted it right out.

I was going to replace the washer's when i did the oil change aswell so hopefully it will be the simple fix

I think a minispares order is on the cards
However, there is a knocking noise from the front right wheel
Cheers,
Andrew
EDIT: I've topped up the oil and the level isn't moving so i think it might have just been filling some cavaty in the gearbox when i was measuring it before.

Forgot to add that it has a smiths 3 binnacle clock instead of the standard 2 binnacle on city e's. However the clock doesn't read the right speed so i think i need to change that or the spindle and pinion in the box.
Does anyone know what model the 3 binnacle smiths gauges came with?
What's the difference between a city and a city e? Is it the final drive? Because i've read on tinternet that the city e had a 2.95 FD but i've seen in my dad's old mechanic data books that it has a 3.105 FD :S?
Cheers,
Andrew

. It's only a light knocking so it could be engine steady bushes (they do look pretty decrepit lol). My dad is back in korea now aswell so i think i'll take it to his mate to get a proper diagnosis.
Well it's good news: it's only the engine steady bushes that are worn. Took it to let tony (yep i've been to your work again today owen and i don't think you were there) and he took 1 look, 1 rock of the engine and said yep, looks like they are gone lol. Went for a drive round the block in it aswell just to confirm with him the noise i've been hearing.
So if jammy can pull his finger out and sends me a pm
