Hi, Thought you might like a video that my son Rob and his friend Jesse put together for me as a gift. I'm driving the blue Mk1 and Rob is driving the white Ital job TNX64G. It was shot in the area we live (norh east Ohio). I hope you enjoy it. Bob

Thanks. Shooting took a day plus one evening. They just do it for a hobby. Used four to five cameras including race-type suction mount on rear of pickup truck. Bob

Great film.

It's inspired me to do one of me and the Bodge Speed Racing crew bombing around Smethwick roundabouts.
(or islands as we like to say in the Black Country)...

Best wishes
Monty

Very "Classy" video, I think your son and his mate could have a career in the Movie business?

PS – Nice cars, look after them well, they deserve it!!! :gimme:

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I've passed them on to Rob.
I've had the white TNX64G for nearly ten years. It was one of the trio of Italian Job replicas featured Dec "95 MiniWorld mag. It has not been freshened apparently since it"s 1989 build for Mini 30. I did install a fresh 1380 in it though. Great track day car.
The island blue Mini was just recently completed after a 1 1/2 year rotisserie resto using a very solid 1960 shell. Very little of the original Mini Minor bits were with the car so I decided to do a Cooper replica as I had accumulated a lot of bits over the years. The car is essentially new. I had also installed road/comp rubber springs that had obviously not quite settled much by the time the video was made..sits a bit high. This car also has a 1380 which had been dyno'd at Peter Baldwin's shop at 118 bhp. It's a strong little guy. Thanks for your interest, Bob
