Hi guys.

When removing my dash i accidently snapped the hose to my capillary water temp gauge. It looks like i am going to need to order a new gauge, so my question is, would the new gauge come with the hose, and the bit that screws into the block? It seems to all be one sealed unit, so i can only assume it does. Can anyone confirm?

Cheers,

Mike.

Yes, it does. The hose & sender (the part that goes into the head) & gauge are indeed a unit, like you mentioned. If you should get a gauge with a part missing - it's useless, unfortunate (like yours is now :)). Those capillary gauges can be repaired, but I don't know how expensive it is. You may ask here: http://thegaugeshop.com - they do superb work! :D

But I don't think the adaptor for A-series heads is included (MiniSpares part n° TE5). I assume you allready have this part, if the gauge was installed :D

Cheers,
Jan
