very good idea if you live in cold climates it means that the engine wont freeze as easily and you can start the engine and retain some of the heat in the engine bay to get it hotter quicker with out it having to breath in too cold air

i might have considered on but i have an engine heater element that i can plug in to the mains to keep mine warm and to stop it from freezing

I could make one of those, how do they fix to the under side?

Do they slip on like a latex friend?

For those not aware bonnet bra's are used for practical reasons, not primarily aesthetics. They eliminate stone chipping on your £££ paint job

Whats the real point of them though??

Why protect paint if you are having it covered??? no one is going to see it >_<

I understand that, I think, but I definitely couldn't be bothered with the hassle of fitting it/taking it off every time I was going on a motorway.

I do suppose they could look rather nice on a 60's themed rally Mini though, in fact they could look great. Not sure about it on a modern themed Mini though.

Anyway, how many stone chips do you get?? I used to drive up and down the M6 from uni quite regularly back in my first year and I don't remember getting stone chips on my bonnet, it was the zeemax front bumper that collected them.

Just a thought, but... How much is a bonnet spray??

cheaper than one of those I'd imagine >_<
