Hello! Firstly just to introduce myself as I am a new member and general newbie to the world of minis, though have admired them for my whole driving life

My name is Ian and I have been longing for a project car for quite some time now, I started out looking for a clubman estate, however my search soon took a turn after seeing a pickup, since that momentous occasion, I have been searching for a pickup in need of restoration, however they are proving quite elusive, I have been finding more mini vans then anything and all to be fair at reasonable prices, so just a quickun, is it feasibly possible to convert a mini van into a pickup?

yes, but the rear of a van is sloped/angled whereas on a pickup this isnt the case

Yeti thanks for the link, although I think i could possibly resite each listings description to you, ive looked at them so much, im gonna keep plugging away, anywhere else bar ebay I could look? google throws up classic car websites, however theyre isn't much on them to be fair, Anywhere im missing?

thers a plastic pickup shell on ebay go get that

Dont worry Matt, was just an idea which is now no longer going to be put into action! Though good idea, would the shell simply take all mini parts? Subframe ect? cheers
