Got my subframe back from the powder coaters.



Top arms have been done in satin black, and look like new. Very happy

Not got much done tonight but its a start

Had some more bits arrive today

A bit more progress this week,

Engine that I am using to start with has been separated from its subframe.



All its bits have been removed.



Fitted the front suspension





These are a bit fiddly, got the wife to hold it whilst I popped it in, used cable tied on the second one.



Tie bars painted and fitted



Hub carriers fitted, kind of, I am going to replace the ball joints, as they took a bit of a beating on removal, painted too, not happy wit the colour but it will do for now

Spent 2 hours trying to make a space big enough to move. Every time I say I wont let it get like that again

That front subframe assembly is looking good. I'm about to reassemble mine; although in boring black lol

Everyday is like Christmas here at the moment, another package has just arrived





A few people mentioned about the dodgy welding, I am no expert but the welding looks ok to me.

I will be replacing the whole scuttle. As the corners are gone and the closers are rotten

oh yeh:P i just spied the replacment scuttle... looks like a genuine one to me? if so good choice... a mate told me that pattern scuttle panels are utter balls...

All the panels are genuine apart from the front panel. I fitted non gen end scuttles on another car i was doing and they were shocking.
