Not alot done tonight, removed the scuttle panel and the dash top and wood dash, that's about it, Castle combe is getting closer, and all seem to still be doing is taking bits off :(

Cant see it being ready in time at this rate.

Started making up plates for covering the air vent holes. Should be able to weld them in tonight.

Then get the engine bay painted and ready for all the bits to go back in.

Slowly losing interest, I have had enought of rubbing and grinding and cutting, I want it back on the road now :(

Wellllll, I have picked up a bit, with the bank holiday the bay will be painted the sub frame in and the engine back together ready for a test drive round the farm on monday night.

Well thats the plan anyway >_<

Bit more done, subframe in, and the clutch/servo stainless plate in.

Clutch will not come out.

The box of bolts I bought from fleabay are useless as all the threads are wrong.

I have an issue with the towing eyes as well, the bolts are too short not happy about that, £38 for 2 bolts and they dont work :goaway:

I think the solid front mounts are thicker, so the bolts wont be long enough.

Picked up some longer bolts for the towing eyes today.

Welded the scuttle on and bolted on the front panel ready to weld it up.
