Thank you James 1275sprite

No problem, I hope you get as much enjoyment as I did from the head, and I cant to see what power the engine produces, and to hear how differently it drives to your 998!

As for the locking wheel bolts, you might have to use 'round-off' sockets on them. Depending on the type of wheel bolt, some have a 'sleeve' on them that turns so you cant use these sockets. Simply chisel them down the side and they will brake off :D. Looking at the pic, they look to be the normal type.

James.

They do have a sleeve, a good whack with a hammer and bolster got that off, I am going to grind some flat edges on the nut and try some stilsons, if that does not work I will try the socket approach.

:P Which ones, I have a set of 12s on my car a set of 12s (standard on the blue car and some 13x7s for sale!)

I am guessing that you mean the ones on the car now! They are 5.5x12s Cant remember the exact tyre size, but if you really want to know I can have a look for you, and no spacers, just brake drums with them built in. >_<

Progress with the blue 1275

Carb off
Rad out
Alternator off
Coil off

Head off, rocker assembly dropped on foot ...... >_<

Those are the easy bits, get underneath, undo the gear linkage.

love it mate! Looking truly awesome on the new arches. SO much more classic, and they work with your new wheels far better.

Interior sounds interesting too! I see you've gone more down the gentleman racer than all out track weapon! (if I were as old as you I'd do the same :P)

Cant wait to see more pics! Combe in 6 weeks >_<
