You don't mean nicks do you? he doesn't have a 286 cam in his. Well atleast I don't think he does.

Diff, im not sure, I would say a cross pin diff with the power your going for. Im currently using a metro turbo diff, which is stronger and has a longer final drive for those motorway drives.

I've heard good things about the minispares cross pin diff. I can't remember but theres one diff i've heard of that falls apart. Might be minisports, im not sure don't quote me on that.

Yes, it is nicks, I thought he said a 286 but i might be wrong. Either way, it will be quick. Will my 1275 diff not be good enough?

No, your diff will throw the pin right out at that spec.

It will be quick yeah, mine has the 286 cam, nicks has a morespeed one in it.

The frenchman was telling me that his engine is getting tired now, maybe want a refurb before fitting, if you get it.

My 1275 blew a standard diff with just the addition of a ported MG metro head. Which is the equivelant too stage 2 or 3.

Not worth the risk. Are you fitting your 1275 and then maybe swap for the 1380 at a later stage?

Was going to strip the 1275 for the crank, and gearbox to go on nicks, if thats the case, i may get my block bored out and use nicks internals. so it will be a full rebuild then? New rings etc

Seats do look pretty darn good James! :errr: Cream with green piping wouldn't have looked as nice as the finished article, and they're not common :) Shame I didn't see them in the flesh, but I'll certainly keep my eyes peeled at future shows :P

Was good to meet you Saturday too :D

That's not too bad of a list, majority of it is service parts.

Weird that the shock bushes have gone in that time though.

Awwww, what's it like, I can imagine it being quite rusty for that price.

You keeping your current one?

Yes will be keeping mine, I am not sure what I am going to do with the clubby yet until i get it home but for £100 I couldn't say no. I have a thread about it in mini chat "what do you think?" pictures and everything.
