Right so after some thought I'm decided that it would be best to sell the mini for the time being and get a more reliable car as i may be driving to Uni 3 days a week so thats 6 trips up and down the M6. Something im sure the mini will be fine with but may not like. would just really like a guide price to offer for when i finally decide if i want to depart with it as i love it to bits and love the community having a mini brings.

I haven't got many pics atm but description will be best as i can.

-1989 Mini Flame (Flame Red obvs), F reg, 998cc

-87700 odd miles on the clock

-starts first time with choke and warms up nicely. only problems i had was when the cables on stereo kept draining battery, this now been solved.

-4.5 x 12 cooper minilights ( or along those lines), 3 of them (2 on left including spare) will probs need a refurb and a respray to match the two on the right or just refurb the 2 on the right to match the other 3. basically 2 of them are shiner and are a different colour to the other 3.

-Stage 1 kitted fitted (was fitted when i bought it) believed to be a mini sport carb on it with what looks like an RC40 2 box system.

-Mountney 13inch steering wheel fitted.

-4 wipac spots fitted

-cigi lighter is fitted all wiring done etc..will just require a mount for it, works fine chargers phones and runs CB radio spot on

-Had a new radius arm fitted before i bought it (no receipt for that though)
and has just had radius arm rereemed on left hand side (due to me being an idiot and hitting a wall)

-Hit a wall in wales, damage to alloys hence the non matching colours or current ones >_<
as a result of wall, radius arm on left side rereemed, two new tie bars fitted

-also a result of above when garage jacked car up they put a hole in my floor pan.
Currently is having a new left floor pan and complete left sill being put in.

-new rear windscreen seal as old one leaked

-wiring for modern HU currently in there, however no HU will be sold with car neither will speakers im afraid.
will not bother with a parcel shelf board either as different people want different speakers.
has 13cm holes cut into parcel shelf for speakers and has standard small 1 inch holes.
will come with a black with red piping carpet for the parcel shelf

-standard sealed beams on it, have got wipac Quads which could be included if wanted.

-new brackets and mounts holding exhaust up and will have new clamps on the Y piece.

-Engine could do with a clean but runs nicely.

-new door skin on passenger side will be required at some point as it is bubbling at bottom.

-bad paint job on the cuttle will most likely require attention at some point to.

-interior is bog standard as i got it, except for steering wheel.

EDIT: has MOT till september and TAX till february so would it be worth waiting till MOT is up, put a new one one and go from there?

if anybody has made it this far reading it all, any estimates too how much i could expect to sell this for?

£1600 is a bit steep mate, you could pick one up with lower milage and a 1275 for that (not trying to critisise), and also the paint and the door skin etc comes into the price. I think asking price of £1500 and expect offers of 1300?

Its got the advantage thats it more or less standard'ish, so has great potential and would get more interest from buyers.

Paul.

yeh i wasn't sure hence why i thought i'd ask on here before deciding on anything for sure.
i mean 1500 sounds fine to me..but it does all depend on the offers.

guess ill have to wait and see
