I really wish people would stop perpetuating this myth. Jack Knight went through a management buyout, that was about 5 years ago though. They aren't really a BMC specialist either, they do most of their work in commercial vehicles and worldwide motorsport (including F1 and A1 GP) and mostly they make steering parts.

jack knight have aparently been in and out of recivership/changed ownership in the last few years.
last i heard they were making stuff but it was dificult to actually get it out of them, also i have heard some of their parts have been of questonable durability.
personally i would ebay the gearbow and build a new one using the minispares straghtr cut gear kit, it is pretty good, lotquite a few turbo guys stick over 200hp through it.

evening everyone, anyone ever had dealings with jack knight developments before, they seem to me the most useless buisness ive ever come accross!
If it is a genuine JK gear, [identifiable by the letter JKD stamped on the flasnks] MInispares centre ST gears are nterchangable, and more importantly available.
