...So...does any body here do wakeboarding? Bit random but im going to give it a go and book a session at cotswold water park.
Tried it once and I was crap... decided to try skis instead

I'm not much chop at it but I have done it a few times. The hardest part is getting up at the start, actually staying up isn't that hard. One tip: make sure when you take off, let it pull you up, don't pull yourself up with the handle, otherwise you'll never get up.

It's better on a boat than on a rail though, especially if you have a patient boat driver

You'd better have good abs because befre you take off you need to do solid stomach crunches for like 5 minutes, or either the board will sink or your head will, was harder for me being quite tall 6'2" and all legs.
Once you get up it's awesome though.

Bit like Skimboarding, without a skimboard... its thicker n foamier..?

I really want to learn to surf sometime... but going to learn swimming first

Awesome they are, sorry for being no help!
Always wanted to do it though, my mate used to do it in shefield somewhere. Would rather do it with a boat though.
