could anyone give me an opinion on buying these components please? I'm considering one 10" sub in the boot, two 4" components up front in pods and two 6x9's under the rear seat, I already have the 4" and 6x9's but I'm stuck choosing an amp/sub! so many choices. so little time ;0

Alpine PMX-F640 4 channel amplifier 640 watts
Audiobahn AWC10T 10 inch 800W car subwoofer
(two * FLI 6x9)
(two * Juice 3-way 4" tweet)
are my considerations, 4chnl amp: bridge two to the sub, two for the 6x9 and just run the 4" off the HU? would this be feasible or would it be necessary to crossover the components? If the 4's are running off the HU I thought I could set the EQ to filter the low freq's so they don't break.

cheers!

i personally dont like that audiobahn subwoofer.
the amp and that amp series is good.
i find fli are cheap and are that cheap for a reason.

how much power do you want?

and what is your headunit?

yeah the FLI are kinda cheap, I bought them for a standard set-up speaker board before I decided on amp/sub, and just thought that I'd incorporate them for the time being and spend money elsewhere. it's limited after all!

are Audiobahn not good then? I thought that they were a good manufacturer. so what about Alpine SWS-1043D 10 inch subwoofer? costs a few bob more but looks decent. I'm not looking for anything major, just somewhere to start really.

headunit is a Sony CDX-GT620U.
