hi, this is my 1979 Leyland Mini. i went to gaydon today and realised i would really like a clubman(after deciding 2 years ago last May that i wanted a round nose...) so here goes, it was originally an 850 super but some one had changed it to a 998 when i bought it, i say i but it was my dad who handed the cash over :D since then it has had another 998 put it and it runs very smooth. the paint isnt great but presentable it was 10x 4.5 minilights in excellent condition with yokahoma tyres with lots of dred left in them. the interior is out of an 84 mini, not me that did that either, it has just had the shockers changed with standard shocks on nthe frount and spax shocks on the rear. it was factory yellow then respayed in vauxhall arden blue (pearl) and rover siver roof and bonent stripes. it has 75531 miles on the clock. it has a standard size straight pipe leading into a maniflow back box. oh and also the front windows are scrached from the stapels in that bit of rubber. the body is straight apart from a little surface rust on the wing joints and a little bubbles on on door bottom and an a-panel. all the chrome is in good condition
it is taxed and moted

well thats about it really
what do you guys think i could get for it?

thanks,
Max

P.S taking offers, px/ swap for clubman

Depending on the amount of mot, i'd say about £800

Well the thing is, 'little bubbles' on the door bottom and A panel. Bubbles from the outside mean the the area has rusted from the inside out and usually that means that area in need on repair. If you poked at the bubbles with a screwdriver, they'd probably crumble away and reveal some holes.

Door reskinning isn't the cheapest repair either.

How much MOT does it have?

Get it a new MOT and you'll get much more interest and could advertise it at a grand quite resonably i'd say. Yet still i'd expect about £800.
