Hey,
Next year when we start working on the Mini Se7en Race car i will need to get some big "stickers" made as such. The Car is orange but my racing livery has a two tone paint job, white highlights. Very similar to Peter Baldwins championship winning se7en from back in 2001 if anybody remembers that.
Now, were racing on a budget/were poor, so rather then getting the car sprayed, i would ideally just prefer sort of, Viynl wraps if that works, can this be done and how much should i be looking at paying?
Much like the terrible illustration i have provided below. (took hours that did!)
Orange = Original paint - White represents said Stickers - Blue Arches and bumper = paint

vinyl wraps are incredibly common in saloon and tin top racing these days, after all if you touched and it damages a panel..u can replace that panel and a sticker on top instead of painting. plus it means you can change paint all season long. Most touring car teams use it. i will look in my contacts tomorrow and dig out an email i think i have for a guy who we used to do a whole truck.

Just a thought - if money is that tight would it not be better to go into mighties rather than sevens? Much cheaper formula and the racing is very close.

I have a Relative that has been racing in Se7ens for a few years now, i have considered mightys and read through the guideline book etc but se7ens just seem easier for us to get involved with.
Cheers for the thought though!.
