Description of problem (please be as in depth as possible):
Started a thread about engine vibration and have now found the problem but wanted a new thread to discus the problem
The pressure plate for the clutch is warped or incorrectly assembled. If i lightly push it onto the crank shaft and spin it round it doesn't spin ture (i.e it wobbles in and out at the top and bottom of the plate) the plate sits nicely on the crank taper but the plate is out of balance.
Has anyone ever heard of this happening?
Any non-standard parts that might be involved with the problem?

Pressure plate or flwheel? The pressure plate doesn't sit on the crank taper, the flywheel does.

sorry forgot to say its a verto cltuch. so it is the pressure plate.
I have realised that the problem arose due to the u sahped retaining washer for the primary gear dropping down when i first put on the assembly. I didn't realise and ran the engine. I think the pressure plate has adjusted itself to fit the skewed arrangement and is therefore out of balance. I have put it back together in the hope it would readjust but it is still a bit out of balance. Engine really vibrates and there is a rattle when clutch pedal is not pushed in. Thrust spacer i think?
