Mpi Immobilier & Remote Central Locking

I have an immobiliser / central locking question I’m hoping you good fellows on here will be able to help me out with?
The car has the Rover two-button immobiliser. I’ve fast come to realise from trawling the web that this can be a pain to work around when you want to fit an alarm or central locking. Does anyone know if I can rig this up to a central locking interface / kit of some description that will unlock the doors for me when I press the immobiliser unlock button AND disable the immobiliser, and lock the doors when I press the lock button AND arm the immobiliser. So I can get in the car & start up without using the door key, and only need one remote handset to do this.
I have seen kits for alarms that’ll do this but they either state they won’t work with MPIs because of the immobiliser, or will necessitate having another remote as well – hardly sensible needing to press buttons on 2 different remotes to unlock your car… !!
Any ideas of brands/suppliers etc? Prefer to fit myself if poss.
Thanks in anticipation.

Minitrailers do an interface kit to link remote locking in with the factory keyfob...

Does it work with the immobiliser tho, as the web site says "CDL & Keyless Entry Pack - Does not fit unless alarm not fitted" ?

By the way the website reads though, the rover interface thing they do, uses the lock/unlock outputs from the Rover alarm that aren't used on a mini as none of them ever came with remote locking, insead of the central locking kit's own control module....
Demo Rover Alarm Interface
Your Rover alarm system is already attempting to lock/unlock your doors but there is no mechanisms fitted. Our Rover alarm interface working in conjunction with our central locking (possibly with other versions) to unlock/lock your car doors. It will not harm your very expensive Rover alarm system unlike other systems. We have tested the interface and our central locking with every possible scenario i.e. leaving doors open. Our interface makes your life easier to lock/unlock the car. If your battery fails just use the key to open the door.
So to sumarise, by the way the above reads, your standard 2 button remote will disarm the alarm, turn off the immobiliser and unlock the doors simultaneously when using the rover interface kit they sell as it's the alarm that's sending the signal to unlock and lock the doors.

Yes its just connects into the standard interface that you have in your MPi. You need to patch in a few wires to the exisiting loom.
If I remember from memory , you patch the connectors into the Alarm ECU's low outputs. These aare usually used to monitor the door swicthes etc.
remember to plan ahead with this one as you will need to drill holes in the door and the a piller to thread the wires throu for the locking unit. Also the holes will need painted so they dont rust, and also a wee grommet or rubber tube to protect the wire.

Just to let members know that we can re-program and supply the factory remote controls for the Rover Mini.
But we need to plug into the vehicle so we only offer this service locally.
