Seems a little low to me? But if you're happy with the result and it drives nicely, who cares!

well for a compare and contrast here's mine.

56BHP @ flywheel
33BHP @ Wheels
Torque 53 lbf-ft - max @ 52mph or 3400 rpm
Max Speed 95mph @ 6200rpm

998 Stage 1

edit: Not really about numbers, more of a case of how it gets there, RR are great for ensuring the correct fueiling and timing across the rev range. So I've been told

lol, i think you're just lucky there with your 998... my 998 stage 1 only had 46 at the fly and 31 at the wheels... my max speed wasn't reached... he just took it to 95... my 1100 is so torqey, its amazing... been doing some great overtaking... my mates standard 1275 is the same as my 1100... so im quite pleased i can now keep up...

Yeah I would go for that too  needs some money throwing at mine tho, still not right (all over, not the engine :genius: ) mini's eh? ;) Wish mine felt like it pulled, could do with trying other ppls mini's to get a better idea.

by the way Good results for you too, seemed to miss saying that 1st time round, lol

Thats good. I wish mine was as good as that. I booked mine to go for a rolling road at slarks later this month. Mine car is running rough.

thanks!

ive just remembered my exhaust is blowing quite badly at the moment... lol that could effect the outcome? however the same horses as a 1275 out of an 1100, thats good enough for me! plus eventually ill get a nice cam and do some lightening!

Hows thr 1100 drive?

How much was the rolling road sesh and what did they do?

Ive got an 1100 which I might put in my clubman estate, something different to the 1275, 1330, 1310 and 1380's ive had in the past 2 yrs.

The last time my standard 998 with a peashooter exhaust was on the rolling road at southams mini and metro center it got 30 bhp (29.5) at the wheels.
