Hiya
You could give these a try how it works is, first of all you register which is free!!! then you tell them what you want delivering from and where to then you'll get various companies bidding for your consignment and it's up to you which one you choose if you choose one. It's very good and much cheaper then anywhere else I found. Here is the link COURIERS

Hope this helps!!

Yes - these are engine parts, not engines ;-)

Otherwise you could probably get away with sending them as two parcels at around £15 each, but getting them back 'assembled' may be tricker.

Not sure on the weight you are looking at, but I have just tried 50kg and 100cm x 50cm x 50cm in Interparcel's website and it quotes £41.86 +vat - www.interparcel.com

For COMPLETE engines, the breakers' yard I bought mine from used PalletLine - They charged me £50 delivery. The engine was on a pallet and roped down, followed by cling wrapping. All fluids were removed and the delivery driver even brought it round the entry to my garage at the back of the house. So, based on my experience, I would recommend them......

For engine PARTS, i'm not sure if this would be cost effective.... The only other thing I can think of is trying some of the freight forwaders like Interparcel or Parcel2Go

Cheers

i use interparcel (google them) to send engine parts to myself from the uk to sweden never been a problem just as long as they are clean and free from fluids
