Do you know it is illegal to drive round with numbers displayed on the door. The only exception is for rally cars that are currently entered in an organised rally licensed by the MSA. They should in theory have them crossed out travelling to & from the event.

this old chesnut again.

this is about as clear as the sky at the moment. No one knows for yes or for no.
I have run about for a couple of months with my 95 on the doors with no hastle and another member of Scottish Mini has never had it mentioned and he has had them for a good while longer.

Also remember that VW produced a limited edition Herbie lookalike new Beetle with 53 on the bonnet and side and sold it through dealerships.

To settle it i have emailed the Police National Legal Database for clarification.

I dont think it is illegal to have numbers, there is a thread in mini chat somewhere, I will go and have a look for it

Have you tried asking RacingGreen on here? He makes very good stickers and decals. My partner had some from him recently and they were brilliant. I think it might be worth dropping him a PM.
