Alas my armrest was pretty wobbly so I had to cut a few holes, make up some (wooden) brackets to ensure the zip ties wouldn't pull through and tie them onto the existing frame on the floor, works pretty well except the handbrake hit against the front part of the armrest.

Yep, the headling is one of a very few original aspects of this mini. Unfortunately funds won't extend that far...maybe in 2013.

Oh, here's a classic, I saw an L reg BRG mini fo sale last week. The lady wanted, wait for it...£3,800 for it...10 months MOT, 32,000 miles, nothing special, just a bog standard mini...she paid, wait for it...£4,999 a 4 months ago for it!

Heheh window wiper has now been reinstalled. It actually snapped in half when I was windingthe window back up, half way through the wind when the top ofthe glass was nowhere near the top ofthe door to cause any pressure. I had the winder in my kitchen for ages thinking of what to do so I just superglued it back together and it works perfectly fine - after my friend wound the window down accidentally (I was too scared to try) and it didn't snap.
