thought it would be best to put both my projects in here

At the moment i own 3 minis

theres my mini neon, in a bad rusty state :nugget: me bein an idiot ended up bashing it at 20 almost front on into a foot high pavement, bent tie bar rod, tracking way out roted inner wing destroyed itself and so did the a panel, was so much fun though and will be missed, being sold for 250 to make space for my other minis.

heres my mini city, was absolutley mingin when my sis owned it, about the only word i could describe it, unless anyone else has got a word to describe stained and puke smelling interior, with mould may i add



once she gave it to me i got to work cleaning about 18 months worth of C**p on the paintwork lol

got it to this, still with mingin interior though :sick:



decided to get my slack $ss into gear and start adding bits, got a set of halogen lights for £15, picked up some black vinyl hle door cards for £5, then i got a full set of clubby seats and some clear rear lights all round too :cheese:

me and kyle (minidude) spent all friday cleaning the minis for the local show, heres what its like now, i love the interior its really comfy too



my next plans are to sort the dents my sister made fit the wheels that are on the mini neon onto this one once refurbed, fit the rest of the stage one kit, wood and picket arches and a new grill, cant wait but will take a while to get finished due to my third mini hehehe :fear:

its a mini clubman

had it a couple weeks now, as it stands its a 1971 1100 auto, it is suprisingly structually sound except the battery box

day one of getting it i stripped it down and started getting stuck in, my plans are

strip to shell, prep myself, get it repreped and sprayed
hopefully picking up a 1340 for it, dont know what condition it is but im sure i can strip it down and rebuild it.
im also kinds swung on the idea of a 4 speed or a five speed gearbox, straight cut or not, dogbox maybe? im a bit foggy on the gearing side

all a bit daunting only being seventeen but i feel i can do this and have got enough knowledge now to give it a try, if all else fails il just find a dark corner and live in it :fear:

i love it and i cant wait to see it transform, will get some pics up asap

heres some pics of the clubby before i cleaned the moss and started stripping it









will get some pics of how it looks now as soon as i can, took ages to remove the moss longer than it took to remove the bonnet, boot and interior

The body looks like it's in amazing condition!! The only rust i see is the rear bumper area, which is amazing considering its obviously been sat for a long time....in a pond by the looks of it! I reakon it's gona look top notch cleaned up!

the only rust i could find was little surface rust areas, a tiny hole in the 'a' panel and a very badly rotted battery box il get some pics as soon as i can, would of got them today but have come down with tonsilitis :sad:

apparentley some rally window thingy thing dunno but its gone now and was in about 3 pieces

who reckons i keep it for novelty reasons :cheese:
