Since the tyre size subject came up..... I have an unmounted new set of 165/70x12 Y372F Yokohamas that came as a freebie when I bought my "Japanese" Cooper in February. The attached pinned thread says that Falkens of that size will fit, but not a word about Yokohamas.

The tyres on the car (145/70x12) are showing some aging cracks, so they will need replacement soon.

The Yokohama tyres look kind of big, diameter wise, I am concerned with the fit around the rear radius arm and outer bracket. They measure about 21 and 1/4 inches in diameter.
Should I put them on or sell them? What do you all think?

Thanks,

Ivan

They're not mentioned as are not a common tyre on minis.
They'll fit, probably require a bit of trimming on the front wing.
