How To Undo Apart Of The Gear Linkage.

Just simply asking how to detach this (below). Cant figure it out and dont really want to destroy it trying, lol. :

Drift the most upper roll pin out on your picture.

Place the car in reverse gear, get the correct size punch and tap it out with a hammer.

To remove the linkage from the gearbox end, you will also need to undo the nut/bolt holding the other rod on, 13mm spanners if i remember correctly.

You knock the dowel out, only need to remove one to remove the rod. You need to put it in a certain gear so that the dowel doesn't get stopped by the casing as it comes out. I forget which gear.

I use an old screwdriver shaft same thickness as the hole.

There you go its reverse gear ha ha knew somebody would know :)

Brilliant, I wouldn't have guessed to put it in reverse, you all just saved me alot of hassle and probably money, lol. Thank you all again, will probably post another silly question on here again soon, lol.
