Description of problem (please be as in depth as possible):

Basically, i was just pulling into my house today after going to the football (a mile 30 mile round trip to Norwich), and I heard some metallic scraping noise. At first i thought the exhause had come undone and was scraping along the road, but released this wasn't the case after a quick peak under the car. I then popped the bonnet and had a check to see if the fan was hitting anything, and it wasn't. The suspension seems fine enough, as do the brakes, so im seriously stumped for this one, all i can really think of is something in the wheels? Apparently my mum has heard this noise when out in the car aswell, so it has been going on for a while, i just don't want to risk it anymore and have something break, seeing as i could be driving it solo in around a month.

Help would be really appreciated!! Cheers! >_<

Could simply be a stone wedged in the disc guard. Maybe loose fan belt ? Maybe wheel bearing about to seize.

I just had a similar problem. Grab each of the axles and give them a wiggle to see if theres any play? It could simply be a stone but best to check bearings, CV's etc
