greegy50 dont worry about breaking down thats just the risk you take when owning a mini! but 9/10 times you can fix it straight away anyways

Yeah well if I could meet with someone going on the sunday near by would probably go in the mini as my dad knows even less about them than me so worried about it breaking and not being able to do anthing. It seems to run sweet though so if something goes wont be anthing major so yeah who going on the sunday? and fancy meeting up on the way?

i’ll be almost useless with helping with a brake down but we aint top gear and were not gonna leave you by the side of the road lol (never leave a fallen mini behind). I’m positive the other would be able to help with a brake down

I'm thinking about meeting at central six retail park, (CV3 6TA) and then going along the A45 through daventry and round northampton so we miss out the m6 & m1. It will only add about 10/15mins onto our journey time.
As to what time to meet, i'm not sure yet, but probably sometime in the afternoon. Depends if we are meeting any other TMF members, and what time they can get there.
Rich, i might pop over to yours tomorrow so we get buy the BBQ's and food

On the route front... I personally wouldn't dream of doing the A45 the whole way. It runs literally from outside my door in Northants, to Coventry, and when I tried it for the commute I found a lot of single carriageway, queued behind f**king lorrys.
When I come back to Northants, I come M6 - A14, then you would follow the A45 to Irchester and find Pod through the back roads. No guarantees on a better journey, but it's the route I find easiest.
Can someone PM me a number I can get hold of the camping lot on, just so I know when you have arrived and the best way to meet up with you? Or contact me on 07747 535298

Either that or I could give you a tour of Northants roads and guide you to Pod if you's want to meet up before you get there?
