does anyone here have a Minivan with the roof vent fitted? if so could you do me a favour and take a pic of the inside of the roof panel for me, I am not sure if it was only fitted to the smooth roof van but I think there might be a strengthening panel inside the roof? also is the vent welded or riveted on?

hi there ive got 2 vans.. 1 is a 1981 ribbed roof van that doesnt have a vent and i also have a 1964 flat roofed mini van with a vent hole (but no vent damn it! i do beleive that the vent is riveted in as theres just a big hole on mine not wleded up.. cnt help about the roof lining strenteneing part tho as the lining still in.. sorry hope anything of this helps..

I have a spare vent I was going to put on ebay, It came from a very early van (pre reg) I am in the process of restoring it with a new hinge and seal

Does your 1964 van have an interior light, if so do you have a pic of that?

i beleive it does actually... ill have a look tommorow when its light and take one if i can..

i have a van with a vent and it just looks like they have cut a hole in the roof for it with no added strenght.

when its rivited in place it should be pretty strong anyway.
