Hi guys, just been having a look into the Reece Fish carb, seems a rather good carb
I know that Vizard rated it highly, just wondering who has actually fitted one to their mini?

I think he wasn't able to fit it due to the laws in his country, I know he has one, just wondering if anyone has one and has actually fitted it lol

He's not running it now, but I'm certain he DID fit it and have it running at least in his garage.

I did, yes

But tuning it is realy difficult, might be easyer in summer. When I recorded the video it was deepest winter (you hear *sniff, sniff*

If you need tuning instructions etc: http://fish.jan-wulf.de
Maybe I'm giving it another go this year. The problem I have ATM is that all LCBs I've tried so far fould the intake manifold (original Reece Fish alloy manifold). Most probably this is another reason I couldn't tune it properly (air leaks). I allready sorted a big chunk of aluminium I can make an adaptor plate with to fit to an MG manifold.

So unfortunately I'm not of big help

Cheers,
Jan

I got mine installed last night.. 998cc A serie engine. Just standard setup. Put it on the car and started straight away. No fine tuning and get the rest of the countryman done to drive
