heya guys well alots happened it went for welding and is hopefully coming back late this week i have painted all the engine radiator subframe etc i want to put pictures up but photobucket wont work i have taken the callipers of but cant decidewether to take them apart its been sitting for a year and dont now wether the seals will need replacing what do you guys reckon thanks ross

well the welder is fitting the last panel today he has done alot more work than quoted but said it will be the same as he quoted so pleased about that ive finished painting the brakes etc one side so moved to the next side all in al happy with my progress what do you all think thanks ross

yeh i would do but my dad said i had to get a profesional to do it but i got mates rate as the garage doin it is owned by my mates dad thanks for the comments its coming along nicely im pleased with the engine just debating about wether to put hilos on the rear my dads an engineer so i will be making some custom bits for it soon so im making the flip front hinges etc myself

im liking the work you have done but please please paint your coil with something! i did that to mine and it is lovely and brown now :(. great job so far

cheers mate will leave my coil for the moment then when it gets grubby i may paint it as its not difficult to take of again later thanks for the advice though

well guys well needed update got the mini back a couple of weeks before christmas and overal quite pleased as they did quite alot more then they quoted but didnt charge anymore anyway a few pictures
one of a few repairs on the floor

when it came back painted the floor with hammerite to stop any rust

then i put the engine back in and test fitted the front panels

then found on the passenger side i was left with a gap

so after humming and harring and bashing it around decided the second hand front panel must be bent so ive ordered a new one and i will update with what happens then what do you guys reckon thanks ross after that just loads of prep work and filling to do

well about time i updated the engine is now back in and brakes all back in the engine bay is painted and electrics on my task is to get the car running again before i prep it for paint also got a rc40 side exit exhaust for it thanks ross

well update heres a picture of the car in the current state i connected all the gear linkage back up

and finally ive been having a go at filling which is going well but to be honest bit fed up with it as all i seem to do is pour money into it and end up getting more headaches and im not sure i can swallow that its gonna cost 800 pound for a respray and im still a mile of thanks ross

hi guys time for an update as i havent for ages the exhaust is all fitted the fronts welded up and it is nearly all prepped and now it runs so getting on well its going of in a couple of weeks to get the front finished and sprayed thanks ross
