Been trying to sort out the troublesome leak from the cartridge type oil filter cannister you get on autos, basically getting on my tits now, someone mentioned you can get a conversion kit that allows you to use the normal spin on filter.

Anyone come across this? Any links or help?

And no smart arses telling me to convert to a manual box, only at your own peril!

>_<

If you do manage to find a conversion, remeber that the required capacity of the automatic oil filter is much larger than the std manual mini... so you will need something appropriately sized.... The last thing you need is an oil filter which is restricting flow to the auto box.

A couple of people mentioned this at southern mini days about the oil flow, someone said dns classics have come across one but still need to contact them.

I'm on 16v mini forum aswell, so I'll see what he says

Technically speaking all you need is someone with CAD and CNC machine to make a replacement bracket...

Try MRA-Minis, this is something he can do, and also if there's a market for it potentially make, also has the benefit that he knows all about auto's
