Would it be loud? And produce more than 1 note rather than just going poom poom? Being 100 watt rms, its the same as the Fusion bass tube I've spotted, so it shouldnt be too much quieter should it..? Or will it just sound crap? Opinions please...

if you can't afford a decent sub don't bother with one at all.

I've decided on this one now, if i get one at all, and I know Fusion are meant to be crap but I've read a magazine review saying it's a great sub for the money (and very loud) so I'm decided on that now.
redhotmini - thats sound advice actually (excuse the pun..) since I've ordered half an interior and theres a lot more I could be doing to it besides so I might just forget the stereo for now, stick with what I've got and get the rest of it sorted... hmm

Well that's that one settled then!! I am curious as to how that would sound compared to a more expensive sub, but I'm not wasting £40 of my money if it turns out to be crap!!

its advice the old man gave me. i'd rather have a nice looking car first, the ICE setup is a luxury which i can build up later on.

I was going to just leave it and do what you said when I realised I'd have to rip up my new carpets and pull most of my newly fitted interior out in order to wire it up if I bought it later, which I wasnt keen on doing, and I thought I'd finish off the stereo before moving onto another part of the car..
Tomorrow - alarm

Anybody got any ideas where I could relocate my 6x9s to now I've got my sub? Other than under the rear seat, but they might have to go there if theres nowhere better. In the meantime they're staying in the shelf with a couple of 'ports' for good measure..

drain on the engine and weight = lost performance
personnally idd just put two jbl 6x9s under the rear seat for bass and two ickle faders and tweeters up front, i think subs in minis sound crap, especially in the boot
