Wheel & Arch Sizes - For Faq?

I'll soon be purchasing my 2nd mini. Depending what it comes with, I'll be looking to make some changes to wheel sizes, arch styling, etc, and I had a few questions.
In short... what wheel sizes go with what arches? Sorry if this has been asked before. Maybe when there are some definate answers... this would be a good one for the FAQ?
I've seen lots of minis around with what look like sports pack arches on... but the wheels don't fill the arch properly. On other occasions, I've seen minis where the wheels sticks out further from the edge of the arch. As good as this looks.... isn't this an MOT failure?
I'm a fan of deep dish rims... and I think I'll probably end up going for small 10" x 7" of some sorts, due to the benefits of small wheels. My main question is: Which arch will this rim suit? I want the wheel to sit perfectly flush with the furthest edge of the arch. Also, would 10" x 7" still require some cutting of the wing... or would you get away with this because of the small size? I hope the wheels don't look lost in that big arch only being 10s. Most minis with sportspack arches tend to have big wheels on them nowadays.
And finally just out of curiousity... when people fit Migla arches... I guess they normally use 8" deep offset rims or spacers do they? because I wouldn't imagine 7"s would fill them... they're massive! lol.
Thanks again

What are you currently running?
There are so many different combinations this could get quite long but I'll start things off as I was thinking of changing to 10" rims but can't make my mind up if i will or not.
I have sportpack arches with 7 x13 superlites
For 7 x 13" deep dish i wouold say the following arches work
sportpack
Group 5
Euro 5
miglia
For 6 x 10" I would say
group 2 wide
W&P arches
Some say sport pack work but not sure
I have seen some miglia arched cars with 7 x 10 split rims like MB racing. you can get rgular and wide miglia arches which I would think need 8" rims

Thanks for your response.
I'm not currently running any setup... as I don't have my mini yet lol. On my first mini, I had 13"s on... but I'm not sure what offset they were. I had to cut the arch though, so I'd say 7's. In my opinion yes I'd agree with you... the sportspack arch kit seems to fit 13" x 7" very well.
So I take it group 2 wide arches aren't as wide as the sportspack arches?
From what I've seen... many of the miglia arch kits would be too wide without spacers or 8" rims with a deep offest. I "was" considering this setup should I purchase a clubman... but I won't be doing that anymore because I've figured I'll get more for my money If I forget the clubman idea. However... I am still toying with the idea of miglias. Is there anyone out there with migs on? I'm sure 7"s wouldn't cut it without spacers.
Thanks

Thanks for the link.
I saw these:

2. http://www.theminifo...x...st&id=39813
Anyone know who's these are?
I'm after this look. Small alloys that line up nicely with the arches. The second one's got miglias on... but would these not be far too wide for the alloys unless a) the arch is cut down or b) spacers are used?
Richieq... are you saying the sportspack are would be too wide for 7 alloys, or too small?
Thanks again

There is a link on here looking at 10" with sportpack arches and while they look alright on the front i think they are smothered on the back end, but that's just my opinion
