i went to imm, and had my car in the ice comp (just wanted to see how loud it could get). i have 1 10" kicker l7 solobaric jl audio 1000/1 amp (1000 watt rms), stock alternator (65amp). and i pushed 133.4 db. anyone else had an spl drag, what you got in your car and what was the db?

havent done this myself, but it certainly shows that you dont need to have a car full of speakers to produce some fairly respectable results! good effort!

what kind of mic system did they use?
and where did they place the mic when testing?

and was this with music or a test tone?

dont know what kind of mic system but it was placed on the front windshield, and it was a series of bass test tracks.

and you the guy with the 4 18's. i left before the results. who won over all? did they say anything about my 10" solobaric?? prolly not but i thought id ask.
