Ibought my car in a thousand pieces with it came a 1275 engines of which i have refurbed it is a mg turbo lump anyway i have come to assembling the clutch link assembly to the slave cyinder i have tried to mount it in its position on the bell housing and found the mount hole on the bottom has a gap of about an inch from mount to housing is there a spacer ring/tube that has to be slid up the bolt or is it the wrong slave mount ? im now thinking a picture would help as im confusing myself so i will upload one later . The release arm link that comes from the bell housing has a short link arm that slides into the cylinder this lines up ok one last thing what is the difference between verto and pre verto as i might renew the cylinder .
