I have a 1989 mg metro engine to fit to my 1994 mini, the mg metro had already been fitted with diaphragm clutch(non verto) when i bought it, i now have a verto flywheel and ring gear and want to swap the ring gears so i can keep the starter that was already with my car(piggyback style). Is there a preferred way of removing ring gear???? Do i put the flywheel in the freezer over night, then heat it with oxy so the ring gear will expand faster than the flywheel and jump off for me????? and how do i then fit it to the flywheel i want to use????

Starter Ring Magic?
