hi quick question, im currently cutting all the rubbish previous repairs and rot out of one of our minis and this includes the boot floor,
the rearmost rear sub mounts bolt through the bracket to wheel arch and the floor, and 2 other layers of reinforcing plate (rust!)
question is should those plates be there or is it just as the floors started to rot they have slapped them on.
ill be changing the lot (less the plates if they are not mant to be there)

I remember only one layer of reinforcing plate on mine, I think it was thicker than the paneling, they are spot welded on, trap moisture and rust.
