Some progress today.. Front arches ripped off and new Group 6 ones put in place. Just need to do the rear ones this Weekend. Also have Hi-Lo suspension bits to do this Weekend. Brake bits will be here tomorrow!

Right! Brakes sorted now.. I think anyway. They all seem to work. Entire system has been bled and the the entire rear section has been replaced. My only concern is when I tested it I accelerated up to 30MPH and stopped as fast as I could. It doesn't seem to be able to lock up the the wheels, but it does stop the car pretty well at that speed. Is this normal for standard front discs? I thougt they should be better than the drum brake all round setup. My last mini had drums all round and this car at the moment brakes exactly like that one did... except this one has discs. Lame..

Anyway.. today I got another picture after some small jobs done.

- Removed ugly wheel centres
- Colored the Yokohama logo in on the tyre sidewalls

As you can see, I still haven't replaced the rear arches as I know they're going to be a pain to do. The old arches have left a right mess on the front wings which will be sorted at some point.

I'm hoping to attempt to fit my Hi-Los tomorrow. Haynes Manual isn't overly clear on how to do this. Any idiots guide advice out there?

Hi,

I checked to see if I had any rear lenses and I have.
How are these for you?

They look OK, but what about the bottom part?

UPDATE

I've lowered the rear this weekend. I decided to slam it right down to the max to see how it would ride. Unfortunately it would scrape over every little bump making the car unusable. I've raised it a bit, there's room for 2 fingers between the wheel and arch. It does still scrub over larger bumps in the road.. I think harder suspension donuts will sort this?

Hoping to get the new bonnet fitted very soon. Waiting for paypal to sort themselves out.

Looks great, still looks good raised slightly.
The bottom part of the light lenses are identicle to yours, thats how they are... clear for reverse with a little red reflector. They are 2 piece, so you just need to change the tops to get them back to standard

:)

No it's just more silly mods I haven't had the chance to remove yet. Just a fake filler cap. Anyone want it?

Nothing done to the car this weekend in the end. I realised today that I haven't taken any "proper" photos of the car as usually I just use my phone as it's convenient when you have oily/dirty hands. I decided to go for a drive and find a nice location, here's the only two that I came back with:
