$way - It has the spacered rear drums on the rear.
Update!
I've just bought this:

1275 enging! I've no idea on the exact details, but I suspect it's a Metro engine due to the unfarmiliar thermostat. Can any experts back me up on this?
My plans on this engine are to strip it down, clean it up and along the way decide on the new spec. I want it to be lairy.. but reliable. Watch this space

Did i see that on eBay, pray??
And from what i've read, the way to get more performance and more reliability (among other things, obviously), is megajolt. I know it's on my list of things to do once i've got some monies.
Nice looking car by the way, big fan of the 10"s

Megajolt is definitely going to be part of this new engine spec. Not sure about boring out any more.. might just go for a well setup head / hot cam and see where that takes it. Need it to be quick as my current engine is just dying from being thrashed
The car developed a misfire last night, nothing major but noticable when accelerating hard. Opened the bonnet today and found the vacuum advance pipe had been shredded by the fan! I left it flopping about from the last time I worked on the car. New pipe on order!

It's got an MOT tomorrow, and I've just taxed it for another 6 months. I'm putting it up for sale!

Was out in it tonight, they decided to start gritting the roads while I was 20 miles from home.. I promised myself I wouldn't drive it after the roads were gritted.

Slight change of plan however, I'm going to keep the current engine in the car, but put a nice head on it and run it for a while. Need to change the clutch over the next few weeks. Should be fun, never done that before!

Still got the car.. bloody love it still
Over the next 2-3 weeks I plan to:
Engine
Remove from car
Replace clutch
Fit straight cut drop gears
Fit uprated head (polished and ported, all that jazz)
Full cleanup and paint
New full maniflow exhaust system (smaller than the current fart cannon)
Car
Wash it
Strip interior out, including all sound deadening and current seats
Install bucket seats and harnesses
Ditch some weight
Possibly fit roll cage
Replace discs and pads with uprated ones
Replace rear and side windows with poly
1.5 negative camber bottom arms
Adjustable tie rods
It still looks relatively the same:

I've not done a lot since the last update, apart from wheel bearings which is quite major to me as it was the first time I'd ever done it.
