I ditched the rear seats and removed the sound deadening on the rear bench and entire floor.
Horrible job that. I found to remove the last of the bits and gunk, use a wide scraper and then some white spirit, or similar to get the floors clean.
It's heavy stuff, once you've got it off the seat and floors, I think it's around 10kg!
Are you cutting the bench overhang and bins out or leaving them there?

and my mini had a full striped out inside
wayed alot less but ive got rear seats and ordering carpits to go back in i like standered
but get that engine done!! beast at 1380

Yep the bag of stuff was very heavy indeed. There was quite a lot of that silver stick on stuff too, horrible to remove. I am planning on removing the bins and overhang, however I don't want to do this until I've got a cage to go in there

I'm hoping to have the engine out first thing, then do the clutch, transfer gears and head and get it all back in and running by the end of the day. Maybe a bit optimistic, but I'm gonna try! Wish me luck.
