What you could do is make sure any modifications you make are simple to reverse and keep the original parts safe in the loft or other storage - that way you can easily return it to standard if/when you come to sell it,

If i were you i wouldnt touch it at all, 750 is hardly anything in car terms and the way minis rust and get crushed theres probably very few left at all!

If you aren't fussed about having a Rio you could always consider whether it is worth selling it then getting a more 'regular' mini and spending the extra on mods

why not sell it for mor money than your 'average mini' buy a cheapish one (easier sed than done) and the you'll have some spending money to start your project

My mum has a Rio in Caribbean Blue,... it is no longer original, most of the mods are easily reversed but at the end of the day it is her Mini and she is not going to sell it so why not do to it what she wants.

However amongst our collection we are soon to gain and April 1960 Mini and this will be kept 100% original due to its age more than anything,... also will be nice to have one original out of the five we have lol.

End of the day its your Mini...

Got a rio myself and been told plenty of times to keep it as it is or get another mini if you want to mod etc blah blah blah, end of the day there are sooooo many limited edition minis they dont seem that limited atall? 500 of this 750 of that 1000, 2000.....

http://www.itsamini....tededitions.htm

If you paid for the car you do whatever the hell you want????

If its gonna be tasteless mods then thats another story...... :P
