Hi,

Not a direct fit, you'd need to fit the right subframes

You could keep an eye out for a set of later Mini seats which are similar, but they command a high price. They'd just bolt straight in.

However they do get very pricey.

If you can get the rover seats cheaply It'd certainly be worth looking into the subframe option.

i picked those seats up for £30 from my local scrapyard and were dead easy to make fit.. i even used 2 of the original bolt holes on the tunnel.. just had to bend the tabs down to 90 degrees on the front of the tunnel and move one over slighty and reweld.. the back left hand tab (if sat in drivers seat) was just pulled abit further down and drilled through and bolted onto the tunnel and the back right i got a piece of Angle iron wleded a top onto it with a bolt going through it.. wleded it to the chair and drilled the floor for the bolt to go through...job done :dontgetit:

£30? Wicked.

I'm going back to my local scrappy tomorrow for the ones I spotted last week.

Funny isn't it, its not a massive amount of work to change them, but if they were MPI seats they'd be £300

yep! bad isnt it..lol the only problem i had with the seats was the handbrake.. i had to raise it up 6 inches and bend the gearknob forward.. this was only because i had a cage in tho so if you dnt have a cage you can space them further apart and you dnt need to do any of that.lol

Saw your Mini in Miniworld!! In fact it was one of the reasons I bought mine...

I think the later Mini seats are brilliant, they look awesome retrimmed and they bolt straight in but as huntface said they do get expensive, I paid £60 for mine and they're just a basic cloth/vinyl set.

Probably should have got the Rover Coupe ones but we live and learn!!

cheers for the help, i think i might stick with mini seats because my welding skills aren't the best to say the least, i am tempted by a full set of tailored seat covers or possibly part vinyl red and black rover seats like mini 30 although i am tempted by some classic clubmans but i have a feeling rear acess wont be the best:(
