I bought these spotlights a few weeks ago to replace the ones I already have.






Are the brackets the wrong way round?

These won’t sit flush with the front panel.

Quick response will be helpful so I can get out and fit them.

Should that lip fit under the bumper?

id assume is does indeed fit under the bumper...do a dry setup of them...just sit the lips under the bumper no bolts through and just see how it sits

the lip with the bolt on it goes on the bumper mounting lip and is pretty much hidden by the bumper.
The other lip, with the slot in it, is bolted to the pannel behind that (the one thats about 2cm higher than the bumper mounting lip)

Purchased two brackets and Wipac spot lights however when putting back together bumper won't go on as fog light bracket too far forward? suggested I drill the hole out so bracket can be pushed further towards the grill. 

Are my brackets just the wrong size or any one else had this problem?

Brackets are stainless with one stud welded on for the front fitting and a groove and bolt needed for the rear. 

 

Maybe I should buy different brackets. Going to Beaulieau at weekend to check out all those minis and their foglight fittings. 

 

Any observations appreciated. Also chrome or stainless for the bumpers, stainless one delivered but seems pretty flimsy.
