so bought a springalex steering wheel from MITP looking rather worse for wear.
gave a nice clen and the chrome came up pretty well.

it had somewhere in its life lost its leather outter surface so the rubbishy plastic stuff had started to split.
so out came the tape aha tape all around it just for some form of security.

here it is as was when i bought it

plan is to cover it with someform of self adhesive grippy material.
and along came halfords..so got some this afternoon and this is how it is looking now
before i ran out of the tape stuff.

doesnt look half bad on the pic but is shocking up close but it will do for now
