hey all and welcome

this is my first car im 17 on the 30 th august
what i have planned is: respray not too sure what colour yet (my paint is badly sun burnt)
group 6 arches
mini speed steelies with chrome hub caps
chrome exterior handles
stick on numberplate (orderd)
stamped rear
roof rack
mk2 rear lights and reversing spot lamp

for the time being im going to fit the stock arches and keep the wheels because of insurance, also the paint needs a little tidy up

yeah most of them have passed lol!, yeah the paint is pretty faded and that.. but i lik eoriginal so i may just keep it for the mo

Nice Mini but maybe you should avoid the stick-on number plates since you're a new driver. It'd be a ridiculous thing to loose your licence for. You only have room for 6 points as a new driver and each stick-on plate is worth 3.

If the paint is fading, try some t-cut to take out the oxide. I discovered yesterday that some polishing cloth on an orbital sander works really well (if a bit noisy on the roof panel) as long as you clean the tcut off by hand. Orbital sander for £4.80 from tescos!!! Looks really tidy in those pics mate, great first car!!
