hi i own a mini equinox its a 1275 spi my problem is the sidelights on the driver side are not working also the dash side lights are not working. it failed its nct (mot) on this i have checked the fuse it seems ok its the lucas fuse holder. any help is welcome. thanks

Make sure your terminal connections are clean.

Had this on my 4 fuse SPI but the passenger side - after much head scratching I cleaned up the terminals and all was well.

Also if its the 4 Fuse box then alot of the leads run to inline fuse holders and these can be hidden out the way up the top near the scuttle panel behind one of the pipes.

Also I have a slightly dodgy switch on the switch panel which means that mine don't always come on with a 1st flick of the switch so worthwhile checking that out also.

when you say terminal connections do you mean in the fuse box?? i have a haynes manual but not alot in it. the side lights come in first time its just the driver side that wont work..

Hopefully its that style of box same as mine....

Basically the terminal connections outside of the box not those holding the fuse.

You will have a whole host of connection made to it - Number 4 (Bottom) is a good starting point.

As mentioned earlier the wire connecting to this fuse box may also go into an inline fuse so you will need to follow the wire back.

Looking in my manual it looks more to be an in-line your looking for off a red&green wire.

thanks i got it sum :) put a scoch clip fuse holder in thus the wire broke loose.its changed to i new in line fuse holder :)
