Hello,
I have the following question.
I, am thinking to build in a electric fan kit in my car and loose the blade attached to the water pump. Lots of people tell me this is not possible, because the cooling will not work sufficient.
Has anyone a good idea? :)

Cheers G-J

It will work - IF you don't do much 'city' driving - where you are stuck in a traffic jam. Years ago -I ran my Mini with no fan and it was fine - but too much traffic these days !

The thing to remember is to get the fan as close as possible to the rad, ideally mounting it to the rad. On the inner wing won't work, as it's too far away and the airflow get disrupted by the airflow from the grille. You need to make some sort of ducting, so the only air the fan shifts is coming through the rad.
