Right, Im buying a new mini in a couple of days. (All will be revealed)
Im considering buying one of Scurvys Fiberglass dashboards from him, but the main questions I want to ask are.
* Has anybody got one, Are they easy to fit?
* Ive seen a picture of one fitted, And I see im going to have to move my switch pannel. (Damn)... Any guides or ideas on how I go about removing the switch pannel so I can remount the switches?
* The glove box, What hinges can I use, ive seen one which has external boot hinges but they looked sh1te.
* Chrome rings for around the clocks, Where am I gona get a set from?
Thanks.

This is the sort of setup I had in mind!
BUT, Where does the back of the head unit go?
Is it going back into where the switch pannel used to be?
THen the switches have been moved up?

am gonna order that dash and center console to.........but am not having a glove box tho....as for fitting i cant say until i get one....so your guess is as good as mine....but your headunit can be placed on the center console or is it just the top dash you are getting.......as for your chrome rings depends on what speedos you are getting its gotta be drilled so pick some clocks you like....o :smartass: am sure i guy at stanford hall had one i think he just drilled the holes from the old dash so it slips in<<<<over heard convo i wasnt in it tho....... :fear:

Then there is the cost of painting (or airbrushing) it.
Its worth the money, but i can't really justify it, also I would never make my mind up on a painjob

Scurvydog can do an identical dash + console and posted for somthing around £100 I think.
Ive PMd him but no reply yet.
Im going for a plain black dash.... however, Ive got my thaught going, and I wouldnt mind a black and green theme. So im thinking of getting a green dash. Duno yet though. Will see.
I might ask if I can not have a glovebox, However, it makes life 100 times easier in a mini when you have somwhere to shove all your cr4p.
Im sure Rob has one of these dashboards. Cant remember though!
